COCA COLA CARY GRANT 1933 RARE CARDBOARD STORE DISPLAY POSTER SARI MARITZA

Description

this is a beautiful & very hard to find original coca cola, vintage hollywood item.
it's a cardboard store display poster offering a terrific image of paramount studio stars cary grant & sari maritza.
both stars are shown holding a bottle of coca cola.
1933.
the poster is great looking.
vibrant coloring.
please note - there is damage which includes -
the poster is trimmed.
it should measure 13"x20.5"
it measures 11.75"x18.5"
the good news is that the image of the 2 stars is complete.
it's missing the word 'drink' & the very tops of the words 'coca-cola' at the top.
it's missing most of the 'h' of hospitality & the tip of the 'a' of cola at the bottom.
missing 4 corners.
heavy bottom rt corner crease - must be handled carefully.
edge wear w chipping, some paper chips.
some flecks/flecking in areas.
some background creases.
a name in pencil on the upper edge.
some mild warping.
missing the original easel back.
back has mold staining & pencil writing which doesn't affect the front.
having said all this, the poster is still incredibly hard to find in any condition.
would look fabulous matted & framed.
